Everything encompassing fly fishing is art, and to Paul, this has become an obsession in creativity. It starts with the artful tying of fur and feathers onto a hook. Crafting reels and building fly rods is art. Casting a perfect tight loop is art. Putting it all together to fool a fish then becomes the goal. The reward comes when a shimmering fish is finally brought to the net. Attempting a rendering of that memory on Bristol board is the final challenge. Then it begins all over again.
